The Institute is established as Nandan ITI way back in 1985 by great poet Late Shri Yadunandan Lal Srivastava 'Nandan' where there were only 3 trade with a mission to train youngsters in technical field, has a long and checkered past. In recognition of its dedication and service for all these years, the institute was elevated up to 24 trades at present with 100% placement of its student in esteemed organization of Government, public as well as private sector such as PWD, JAL SANSTHAN, DEVELOPNENT AUTHORITY, BHEL, DLW, NTPC, HINDALEO.

The campus is of great scenic beauty and form on excellent setting for the pursuit of technical education. The well planned departmental building, work shop & allied room well stocked library, sports recreation, yoga & meditation centre for students, nearly laid out lawns and gardens in about 5 Acres situated at Beerbhan Pur on NH-2 (Kol-Delhi Highway) which is about 12 kms. from Cantt. Railway Station , Bus Stand and 14 kms. from city centre well connected by local public transportation.
